This small lightweight games is an excellent game for kids over 5. It is small and portable. Many games are available for a reasonable amount of money.

I bought this game for my 8 year old grandson at his request. He loves it. Games come on small memory cards that are easy to tranport and relatively inexpensive to purchase. It has long battery life, fits in a (large) pocket, and is very easy to transport. The stylus is easy to lose (it comes with 2), but new ones are inexpensive and easily available. Many age appropriate games are available. It would be nice if any educational games were available. The Amazon price was the best available.

I knew about the Nintendo DS before, but never really looked into buying one. Recently, I found myself on a business trip and noticed the guy next to me on the plane with a DS. It looked so fun. So, I decided to make the plunge and I love it. It is the greatest little system and Amazon is so wonderful. DO NOT BUY from anyone else. I bought 2 of these, one for my son and one for my daughter. The best thing I could've done to keep them entertrained on a 10+ hour plane flight. Battery life is great! (8hrs).

My son loves his DS. He is 6 1/2 and really enjoys playing his games. It is great for passing time in the car!

It took me a long time to finally purchase a DS and I'm so happy I finally did. It's a lot of fun and has such a variety of games to keep me entertained. The green has grown on me, too.

I love the brain age games. The Ds is perfectly fine for what I want to do, a camera is unnecessary for just playing games.
I would recommend getting a screen protector because the screen does get marked up.

The DS Lite is amazing. The Personal Trainer: Cooking is not a game but a tutorial type cook book. It's amazing and we're enjoying trying recipies out.
