Bought this for my grandson's 9th birthday. After doing some background checking (I wanted to make sure there was NO violence/theft/robbery/sexual overtones, etc.) decided to make this purchase. He wanted it ... I did the homework ... He's having a great time ... And we're both happy with this product. As a teacher, I have observed more focused and elongated attention spans, coordinated with hand-eye/fine motor skills. So over-all, this game deserves a high rating.

I love the MYSIMS series. I own all but the first one for DS which I was stupid for trading in for a better game. These games take the cuteness of Animal Crossing(Another game I need again and was stupid for trading in) the versatility of Will Wright's Sim series and throwing a touch of humor that is wickedly clever and at the same time makes you feel welcome in these towns. This game is a stellar example of how a series has evolved from a hand held version of a Wii title and become a cult classic.
I would like the reader of this to take note, I am a 22 year old college student not a six year old and yet I find myself picking up these games and keeping them permanently in my collection even after I beat them. I particularly love how the creators of this series keep reinventing the wheel. In this case it is the classic Kart game and it is probably on par with Mario Kart for DS.
This game plays similar to the others in the series, earn stars unlock new things but this time there are some twists. Everybody either is driving a kart or needs picked up for a side mission, and the town feels as if Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon has make love to the Mario Kart series and this is the result.
If you love Kart Games or just need something to get your adrenaline pumping, this is it. Forget the cutesy characters and E rating and check it out. You may become addicted.
