Disney's Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force for DS is a great addition to any DS library. Based upon the online game, but with one cool difference: you become part of a special group...the 'ELITE' Penguin Force via this game.

You begin with a mini-mission, followed with a meeting with Agent 'D' who leads you to Elite Penguin Force Training. The game itself is 'Top Secret', but once you complete training you'll have all access and be able to upload (to Club Penguin online) 'coins' earned by your Elite Force penguin on the DS game. You'll also be able to upload missions, or do it in the reverse and download from your online account to your DS. **This is a cool feature, as earning coins gives you more things for your penguins to play with on Club Penguin.**

NOTE: you will have to have a wireless connection between your PC and the DS to upload and download information (coins/missions) between the two.

Cute and fun, this game will entertain kids ages 6 to 16, and maybe a few adults too!

My son is an avid player of Club Penguin website game, so I had reservations about buying him the Nintendo DS version. But he loves it. It it is constant use, even at home when he could be playing on the computer.

My daughter just loves this game! She can do all the stuff she dose on line and more. She loves the idea she can take it with her no matter where she gose. I like it because i didn't have to pay the membership fee and she can take it with her. All in all it is a good game and to me, just like the online version. Good price and the styl was cute too!

(parent & child co-review): I bought this for my 3rd grade son who has been doing Club Penguin on line for a year. He loves Club Penguin and also loves his Nintendo DS (indispensable for us parents on long trips). It was a no brainer for the Thanksgiving long plane trip. The game has the exact visual appearance and game play style of Club Penguin's spy missions. My son basically disappeared for hours with this (for better or for worse). He played for a 3 hour stretch on the plane coming home. That's direct evidence that this game has some serious game play value.

The code that comes with the DS game gets you 1500 coins and a spy phone for the on-line world."

For those who have never heard of Club Penguin - it's Disney's virtual on-line community for kids where Penguin shaped avatars throw snowballs, make friends, play games (such as unloading fish from trucks - I kid you not), and hang out. There are also longer structured adventures such as spy missions with more involved puzzles and detective work. Lately there's a whole hierarchical game of becoming a Ninja with card based combat (but that's on-line, not in the DS game). The DS game has spy missions that include destroying robots, train special spy puffles (the puff ball pets of the Club Penguin world), and rescue other penguins in need (and harvest the prizes the grateful saved penguins give you). There's a wireless head to head mode, but we haven't tried that yet. All in all - a real winner.

My son LOVES to spend time on the Club Penguin web site. I was a little skeptical that this game would not be as fun as the web site is, but it was a great price & I liked the "extras" that came with the bundle, so I went for it. I am SO glad I did!!! My son is crazy about this game & loves playing it!! He enjoys it just as much as the web site, & this one can go with us in the car!! Love it!!

This is, BY FAR, my 7-year-old's favorite Christmas present.

In fact, his older brothers (9 and 10) ALSO love to play this game.

I don't know much about it, except that it is the most popular game in our house. I thought it was a little too expensive, but I got it anyway, knowing that my kids love Club Penguin!

I purchased this for my 9 year old for Christmas and she states it was her FAVOURITE gift. It goes right in line with the online game. It has different missions and other tasks that must be completed to move on. She says that anyone who enjoys playing online will love this version that is portable with the Nintendo DS system so the fun does not have to stop because you are away from your computer.

I purchased this item for my younger cousin during Black Friday as a Christmas present. She enjoyed playing Club Penguin and I highly recommend this game for younger kids because of how simple, yet constructive game this is.

club penguin the vidio game is cool because you can play with your freinds without having to worry about some other rotton penguin tsking his/her spot on a two player game you asked them to play with you like macalaina or treasure hunt or somthing. it is also very cool because you can transfer coins to your online account on real club penguin and show off how cool you look with your expensive clothes you can only get because you had a 5 hour trip to somewere and playedc the whole time ana got uber amount of coins

My son DESPERATELY wanted this game. We looked, looked, and looked. My husband and I were exasperated! We didn't want to get it online and pay the same for the product as we would for shipping, finally as a last resort we tried. Everyone was astronomically priced due to the shortage, then we found it on Amazon.com, 10.00 cheaper than the local stores for the Collectors Edition! We bought it right up. We spent over 25.00 so the shipping was free, BONUS!, and my son absolutely loves the game. Because it is the collectors edition he also got a skin for his DS, a super stylus, 2500 coins for the online game, and the actual game for his DS. It is the only game he has wanted to play since Christmas Morning, I recomend this to anyone with a child interested in the online Club Penguin game, it is paid for ONCE, no more subscription fees!

The only downfall I have with this purchase is that not even an hour after I received the confirmation that the item shipped Amazon.com sent me another email offering the same product for 9.99! 20.00 LESS than I paid! Very upsetting.

My 7-year-old son, who had an on-line account, was extremely disappointed in the DS version. We did not purchase it through Amazon, and the salesman at the store led us to believe he'd have access to his on-line character and we wouldn't have to pay monthly fees any more. Completely wrong information. My son called the game a complete rip-off. I feel so bad that now I plan to buy him a different game to make up for his complete and utter disappointment in this purchase.

I needed this game for a Christmas gift. I asked the clerk at Toys R Us and several times I was told to come back when the next shipment arrives. I checked Amazon, It was available and She LOVES it. Why should I "stalk" the stock person at my local store? That's not my stance when it comes to shopping.

I bought this game for my 9 year old granddaughter for Christmas to go with her new DSI. She played it for two days until she finally "beat it." Once she started playing it, she wasn't interested in opening any of the other games she received. She said it was the best game she ever played. There were a couple times she got stuck and had to go online for tips. But she loved this game.
