Modern Warfare 2 will be released in three different retail versions: Standard, Hardened, and Prestige. The differences between each editions are explained here.
- The Standard Edition consists of the game and instructional manual.
- The Hardened Edition consists of the game and manual packaged in a steel book case, an exclusive art book titled ‘Behind the Lines’, and a token to download the original Call of Duty from Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) or the PlayStation Network (PSN).
- The Prestige Edition contains all of the elements of the Hardened Edition, plus extras such as fully-functional branded, wearable and adjustable Night Vision Goggles with alternate modes and and a sculpted Soap McTavish head (Collector’s Stand) for you to use as a stand for the goggles.
